Fundraising Opportunities
Pack 117 offers several fundraising opportunities throughout the year to help families reduce their out-of-pocket Scouting expenses. Participation in fundraising is strongly encouraged and provides an important source of support for our Pack and Scouts.
Fundraising also gives Scouts an opportunity to live the Scout Law by being Thrifty. Scouts learn the value of earning, saving, budgeting, and making responsible choices with money. By participating in fundraising, Scouts can take an active role in helping offset the cost of their own Scouting experience while developing valuable skills that will benefit them for years to come.
Funds raised help families manage the cost of participation. Which in turn allows Pack 117 to provide quality programming, activities, events, supplies, and memorable Scouting experiences.

Big Time Savings Fundraising Books
Pack 117’s October fundraiser is the Big Time Savings Fundraising Book, a $30 coupon book filled with savings from local businesses throughout the Tri-Cities!
The book features discounts and special offers in three categories: Food, Fun, and Shopping, with participating businesses ranging from restaurants and coffee shops to family entertainment, golf, bowling, pet supplies, and more.
Some of the local businesses featured include Dairy Queen, Papa John’s, Jersey Mike’s, Domino’s, Baskin-Robbins, Quake Family Fun Center, Spare Time Lanes, X-Golf, Pet Supplies Plus, and many more.
Proceeds from this fundraiser help Pack 117 provide activities, adventures, supplies, and experiences for our Scouts throughout the year.
