My Scouting Story

My Scouting journey started because I wanted to give my son a place to focus all of his extra energy and communicate better. We started at the end of his kindergarten year, and he is now entering 4th grade as a proud Webelos.

About me

My Favorite Memories

It is hard to choose one because every day is an adventure. Currently, I would say putting the Flags on Veterans graves for Memorial Day. My dad is a Veteran and he joined us.

The growth that I have seen in not just my son, but the other kids has been amazing. He has grown more confident, he is more helpful and he is learning things that will help him as he goes through life.

What would you say to somebody that is looking into joining Scouts?

Take that leap! It has been great for our whole family. We're making memories while growing and learning together.

Scouting can push you to your limits in the best way. It is so much more than camping and hiking. There is learning to work with your hands, and friendships that will last forever along with life skills that will follow you into adulthood.
